Nov 1-Dec 1, 2016- Eileen had the honor of spending a one month long artist-in-residency in Brittany. She painted in the artist studio of Yvonne Jean-Haffen (1895-1993). She lived in the la Maison d'artiste of the Grande Vigne in Dinan ,France. Her residency concluded with an exhibition of her paintings. with one being placed in the towns' permanent collection.

Eileen hails from Brooklyn, NY and Northern Virginia and has been painting since her youth. After a 30-year career as an R.N., she decided to go into art full-time. She was a member of the Lorton Workhouse Arts Center Studio Artists in VA. , where she maintained a working studio for over 8 years. She has also conducted art workshops and given demonstrations to numerous art leagues and local social groups. Eileen nurtured her natural talent with classes at The Brooklyn Museum and The Corcoran School of Art and by attending innumerable workshops in the US and abroad
Eileen is a member of Rehoboth Art League and Southeastern Delaware Artists Studio Tour (SEDAST), and has judged many local and state art shows and competitions.
